Life in tropical waters
Join us on a journey about tropical waters! We meet the African dwarf crocodile whose home, the Congo River, is under threat. We look closer at a juvenile crocodile and learn in what way they are adapted to survive in this area. We continue our journey to a coral reef outside the Maldives where Nemo the Clownfish hides from the bigger fish in the anemone. In a fun and educational way, we discuss the feeding habits of the animals and how the food chain in the ocean works. We meet a starfish and learn about their anatomy and compare it to us humans. We also talk about how humans affect our oceans and rivers as well as their inhabitants.
Life in the forest
The forests are threatened by us humans. During our tour the children get the opportunity to develop their interest and understanding for how humans and animals affect each other. Our journey begins in Madagascar, where our ring-tailed lemurs live. We talk about what makes Madagascar so special, since this is the only place where lemurs live! We proceed to the rainforest, where we meet the African dwarf crocodile and the lion-tamarins. Animals that are both struggling to find somewhere to live as a result of us humans cutting down large parts of the rainforest. We also talk about what we can do ourselves to help the forest.
